How to Submit Your Registration

Please read the Protégé Dance Policy before proceeding with registration.

A complete registration package includes submission of a qualification video and required information.  Submission details are explained below.

Step 1:  Submit a Qualification Video
All dancers must submit a video for review by the Director which will determine whether or not that dancer meets the required skill level.  The video shall be only of the registering dancer (no groups) and should reflect current flexibility, jumping abilities, and turning abilities.  The video must be at least 45 seconds but no longer than 3 minutes.  Videos can be in the form of a routine or individual skills (Elite Protégé Program candidates must submit a self-choreographed jazz, lyrical, or contemporary solo routine).  Videos can be submitted in one of two ways (be sure to include your name with video submission):
  • YouTube:   Upload a private video to YouTube and share with the user LIIVprotege.  For instructions on how to create a YouTube account or how to upload a private video click here.
  • Mail:  Mail a hardcopy DVD to Protégé Dance (P.O. Box 22174, Knoxville, TN 37933).

Note:  If you are unable to submit a video, you may submit photos that show off your dancing abilities to info@protegedance.com.  You may also attend our qualification session on August 27th.  However, please be aware that you run the risk of the class filling up prior to the session being held.  Please contact us if you need to attend the qualification session.

Step 2:  Submit the Required Information
Please complete the form below.  Fields marked with a red asterisk* are required. Please allow up to one week after submission for processing.  You will be notified via the provided e-mail as to whether or not your submission was accepted.  If accepted, a $20 registration fee will be charged.  Details for this will be included in your acceptance e-mail.
